I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the chair of Mathematical data science at the University of Passau, Germany. I work in the area of probability theory. My research mainly focuses on sampling methods, in particular on non-Euclidean spaces, and Markov chains.
My reseach interests include
- Markov chain Monte Carlo methods, especially on Riemannian manifolds,
- concentration phenomena for probability distributions, and
- Wasserstein type distances.
